One of my resolutions for the new year is to design more for myself and have some things professionally produced. Well, I finally did! I love making lists, notes, and doodling on cute note pads. I think note pads are my favorite paper product. So, of course my first professionally printed and produced product would have to be a note pad...actually two.
The scallop and herringbone patterns are hand drawn by me on graph paper with felt tip pens. (I love my felt tip pens!) You might recognize the herringbone pattern from my Happy Friday post way back in September. I have been playing with both of them until I found just the right thing to do with them.
It was so exciting to hold in my hands the actual product that has been in my head for quite a while now. And then I was even more excited to give them as gifts! I have a few other designs I'm working on as well...
